My Dear Son

Live as long as you may, for verily you must die.
Love whatever you want, for one day you will be separated from it.
Do whatever you wish, for you will be repaid for it.

وعن (أبي هريرة) قال‏:‏ قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم‏:
‏ “أكثروا ذكر هاذم اللذات” ‏(‏‏(‏يعنى الموت‏)‏‏)‏
‏(‏‏(‏رواه الترمذى وقال‏:‏ حدث حسن‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,
“Remember more often the destroyer of pleasures (i.e. death).“
